This new update focuses on making task tracking even more reliable, actionable, and seamless. With localized reminders, enhanced task editing capabilities, visual improvements, and key bug fixes, version 3.0 brings a suite of refinements designed to ensure you never miss an important deadline.
Smart Local Reminders
Never let important deadlines slip through the cracks. EasyiToDoList now sends local notifications 1 hour before a task is due.
- Direct Navigation: Tapping a notification takes us straight to the detail page of that specific task so we can jump into action immediately.
- Zero Overhead: No accounts or internet connection are required; our notifications run entirely on-device to protect our privacy.
Enhanced Task Management & Workflows
I have streamlined how you interact with and manage your tasks throughout the app:
- Direct Editing & Deleting: Edit or delete tasks directly from the task detail screen.
- Swipe Gestures Everywhere: We can now swipe to edit tasks directly from the main Tasks list, mirroring the smooth experience found in our custom container lists.
- Due Dates: The task detail view now prominently highlights due dates for quick reference.
Accuracy & Visual Refinements
- Fixed App Icon Badge: Corrected an issue where the app icon badge count was inaccurate; it now properly counts and reflects pending urgent tasks across all our custom lists.
- UI Polish: Applied minor visual refinements, layout enhancements, and stability fixes for a cleaner, smoother SwiftUI experience across Light and Dark modes.
